Warranty Informaion:
Clear Choice USA (“Company“) warrants to the original purchaser and subsequent owner of the property (once the warranty is transferred as outlined below), that any window installed by the Company is free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 50 years from which the windows are installed.
Lifetime Limited Product Warranty - that under normal use, the vinyl components of the window will not pit, crack or peel. All mechanical parts (balances, locks, vent locks, seals) are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Any product parts will be replaced and installed by Company at no additional charge. All window screens and patio screen doors including screen mesh and frame are excluded.
Lifetime Installation Warranty-Installation of your Clear Choice USA window or door products will meet manufacturer installation specifications as per AAMA. If your Clear Choice USA window or door units fail to perform according to our specifications due to improper installation, we will bring the workmanship up to our professional standards, at no cost to you. This warranty on installation does not extend to labor/services performed by anyone other than the original authorized installer, nor to the installation or repair of any finishing or other materials (shutters, siding, stucco, etc), that have been applied to or adjacent to the product after the initial installation. Acts of God (earthquakes, storms, wind, floods, etc), fire, and acts of war, terrorism or vandalism are not covered under the installation warranty. Applies only to residential properties, including condominiums, duplexes, and townhomes. Does not apply to multi-family residence and commercial properties.
Lifetime Insulated Glass/Glass Breakage Warranty - the sealed insulated glass unit is warranted against seal failure. If the glass unit fails, the Company will provide the Owner with a replacement insulated glass unit at no extra charge. Seal failure is defined by moisture or “fog” between the insulated panes. Company will replace broken sashes that were broken by accident. Acts of God (earthquakes, storms, wind, floods, etc), fire, and acts of war, terrorism or vandalism are not covered under this warranty. Applies only to residential properties, including duplexes. Does not apply to other multi-family and commercial properties.
Transferable Warranty – this warranty may be transferred to a subsequent owner of the same residence. A transfer of warranty fee of $50 made payable to Clear Choice USA must be delivered to the Company within 30 days of the property’s transfer date. It must also include a copy of the original purchase agreement and a copy of this warranty. In the event you sell your residence, or it becomes occupied by other than the original owner, the warranty is ten years from the original purchase date of the windows from Company.
